Dunamis Gospel Church |
According to report, some youths were arrested for singing and wearing ‘Buhari Must Go' T-shirts to a Sunday Service at Dunamis Gospel Church Headquarters in Lugbe, Abuja.
According to activist Omoyele Sowore, the activists were handed over to the Department of State Services.
He said “Activists wearing #BuhariMustGo T-shirts to their church service were arrested by security forces at Dunamis Church, who were afterwards handed over to DSS authorities who are torturing them,” he claimed. Pastor Dr. Paul Enenche was also teaching about justice, I thought! A DSS Hilux van and two power cycles were used to transport the five protestors. “Shame on God's house.”
When our journalist went to Dunamis headquarters in Lugbe, Abuja, to corroborate the occurrence, all attempts to communicate with the church's administrative body were unsuccessful since protocol officers stated they were in meetings and so could not discuss the matter at the time.
However, a senior church official verified the occurrence on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorised to speak publicly about the matter.
